I know nothing about this game. Actually, when I saw St. Lucia in contest against St. Vincent and the Grenadines I thought that I was watching a fight for third place. I learnt later that it was a quest for fourth and stakeholder of the lowest possible position of the tournament that still had some pride in it. I would say that it must have been tough on these two teams, especially host St. Vincent. I understand that they have one of the best names in the game, not just regionally but worldwide. It would be better for them not to hold the pressure of this result, but see it as a shrinkable stumbling block.
St. Lucia looked good all the time, in every way. I guess their real error was that they saved their best game for last. I wish I knew something about this game, if only to be more critical in a constructive way of course.
Apart from the photogenic outfits and ballerina styled athletics, I would rather patronize basketball. There are just too many rules in the "pretty, oh so pretty" game of netball.
